The NEFL Infrastructure Project of the Year was established to promote innovation in the management and administration of engineering projects by recognizing the alliance between the managing agency, the consultant/architect/engineer, and the contractor who work together to complete local projects in NE Florida.
Infrastructure is defined as a basic physical and organizational structures needed for the operation of a society or enterprise , or services and facilities necessary for an economy to function . The term generally refers to but not limited to technical structures that support a society, such as roads, bridges , water supply , sewers, electrical grids and telecommunications . Project must be complete in the calendar vear of 2013.
